Oh No!
Not another Boomer still trying to make music!
1st Career
In 1967 my group pioneered the first Rock Chapel service in the Episcopal church. Faculties boycotted subsequent services at other Church schools. After marrying and dropping out of college, I moved back to New York and worked my contacts at Columbia Records, who were willing to give us a shot. An unfortunate accident to our lead singer and star ended a promising career.
2nd Career
Devastated by this turn of events, my wife and I became Trust Fund hippies growing our own food. But my entrepreneurial genes turned our 5 beehives into 250. And when a rich Uncle left me a sizeable inheritance, we moved to a bigger farm and eventually had 1200 sheep and 250 cows. When the great Inflation, hit we went broke. It was the start of Farm Aid concerts lamenting the end of the Family Farm. We were one of the casualties.
3rd Career
Well, we found out that the middle man makes the money in the Food business; when we moved to Florida to help my Mother-in Laws burgeoning Virgin Islands distribution. Despite being a single-mom Cuban refugee she got an SBA loan to buy a failed grocery store in St. Thomas. By the time that we sold it in 2012, we were the largest Food Service distributor in the Leeward Islands of the Caribbean, with multiple island locations.
4th Career
So now retired with ample resources and free time, I can revisit my first love – Music. Thanks to YouTube, I’ve become proficient at music and video production. Recently I’ve taken my skills to help other artists, such as recording, remixing and making music and concert videos for them. Still the bulk of my work are my own creations, where I write, perform and produce myself. I hope you can get as much pleasure from my work as I have had in creating it.
